But is that a fully loaded one and if so, is it REALLY the better vehicle?

Performance-wise, it certainly is - but you certainly don't have the utility aspect of the X7. The X7 M50i gives you a good chunk of both...

Thanks.
And then there is a dealership in El Paso that won't budge of MSRP and I guess doesn't care to sell to anyone not in the area. He encouraged me to work locally to establish a relationship. That's fine but I only buy a car once every few years so I don't really need a relationship, I need a great price.
All Small/low volume dealerships in remote areas are this way! Not sure if they take people in a their locality for granted or feel that customers won't shop elsewhere. I wonder how many BMW customers go onto forums like us and read numerous pages to get an idea on discounts and issues related to their cars. I would say very few!

2019 you can easily shoot for 13% before any incentives.

Yeah, my local Audi dealership actually went so far and claimed that the deals posted on forums were made up by posers.....well, I disagree...

Whatever's convenient for them to say but doing so they sound dumb. It used to be a word of mouth in olden days for good deals and referrals, now things have changed. Dealers(or sales people) need to adapt to what kind of clients they are dealing with! Make less profit on some and more on others. Well there's a reason why some dealerships perform well and others don't in same areas.

I am getting quotes for ~$1,295 / month with about $2,700 upfront that includes the first month payment and fees for a $119K 2020 X7 M50 with 10K miles and max MSDs.

I'd say that is a very good offer.

What percentage off MSRP would you guys think is a reasonable deal for a 2020 X7 40i with 2400 miles used as a service loaner and that went into service October 1, 2019? For a purchase, not a lease.

I have also been offered 2,250 in loyalty and finance rebates.
Does that sound correct for the current rebate offers?

Thanks guys.

Just an update: When I ordered today at my local dealer, I got the final number on the wheel & tire insurance and I was charged $1,869 for that. IMO, that's OK.

That's a pretty decent number on wheel and tire. I was offered 2100 but rejected it.

I'm about to place an order for fully loaded 40i....MSRP about $106k. Do I need to be prepared for the fact that in 3 years this thing will only be worth about $50k?

A vehicle loaded to such a degree is NOT a vehicle to own/finance if you are planning to trade it in/sell after 3 years. You will be upside down. By a lot.

Such a vehicle needs to be leased or kept for at least 4-5 years when financed/purchased.

I plan on keeping it for a good long time. Prob 7-8 years. Just dreading the thought of the depreciation though. Also, from what I read definitely need the extended warranty.

Just as an FYI, I took delivery of an X7 M50 with the same MSRP. I wouldn't load up a 40 and expect it to retain value any better than a lessor equipped car.

I'm just saying regardless of Msrp, residual after 3 years is about 50%. Pretty crappy. Just the price you pay to drive a new one I guess. Would wait for a 3 year old one but no where could I find one with all options I bet.

Does anyone know what the incentives are for 2019s? Still a few floating around my area and don't see a major reason to lease a 2020 vs 2019. Also to confirm there is no lease credit for 2020 only loyalty?

Our total incentive was $2,250 and that was including the loyalty. Not sure how it broke out, but just did the paperwork on Wednesday.

For the 40i, no lease credit — just the $1250 loyalty. (Though there is a finance credit of a grand.)
For the 50i and M50i, there's a $1000 lease credit in addition to the loyalty credit.
