Just picked up a 22 x7 and need to purchase all weather mats. Weather tech or BMW brand?

I have the tuxmat ones and have used them on my previous 2 BMWs, my wife’s car and bought some as a gift for my family, they are all awesome and look great.

agree tuxmat looks great and one of the few that makes them for third row. The bmw seems to wear and fade on the drivers side with heavy use and always slip 2-3 inches forward.

I have WeatherTechs, and have used them for many years in all my vehicles. The newest ones seem a bit flimsy -- thinner than before, but still made from a tough polymer that I've never worn a heel through. Floor coverage area is adequate, although all the manufacturers seem to be cutting away from the pedal areas on the driver's mat. BMW has a goofy (IMO) anchoring system, and the WeatherTech anchors are tough to get into place and secure. The mats don't snap into the anchors, but simply hook over the adapters in 2 places. WeatherTechs seem to accumulate tough to scrub off dirt, due to their textured finish. I tried Amor-All'ing one to see if I could seal out the dirt, but it made the mat dangerously slick. But they're just a chunk of plastic that gets who-knows-what dumped on them daily, and scrubbed off when necessary, so I don't lose much sleep over them. They fit well with decent coverage, do the job year-round and don't cost a fortune.

I purchased the 3D Kagu all weather floor liners for my 2021 X7 M50i. I really like them.

They look very nice -- especially the high-rise edge. Might order a set.

BMW oem is the best. Good design and it retains all the dirt. Also very convenient to take outside and clean it.

I've heard good things about Manicci mats. I'm thinking about getting some for my X7.

+1 one these, I have a set and they look awesome! I had the BMW OEM all weather mats and quickly replaced them for these instead. The BMW ones look (and definitely feel) more rubbery and looks out of place in such a nice vehicle tbh (imo).

The BMW all weather mats come in two types…you have the “liners” which rise a bit further on the sides but are more plastic-like and similar to Weathertech mats but with the BMW emblem instead of Weathertech…then there are the rubber mats which also have the 3rd row option if you have 3 rows:

Liners…click link to get part nbrs:

Yes I would need the “liners” to contain spills and toddler messes
