RearView Dash Cam

[QUOTE=lukehhhhh;26361451]Here is a list of cosmetic mods accessories since taking delivery of my X7 and how long it took to install.

Cosmetic mods

2. Dash cam with integrated rear camera - The dash cam is a screen that fits over the rear view mirror. Rear camera requires running a cable from the rear view mirror along the edge of roof lining to the back of the car. I have the rear camera mounted inside on the top of the rear window. The hardest part was threading the cable through rear quarter panel. The benefit is able to see rear traffic across about 5 lanes. About 3 hours.

Which RearView Dash Cam is this? Can you post a link?

How did you remove the mirror caps? I'm guessing there is a tab near the glass?

But they are not that expensive, ~$80 or so for a complete front/rear set.
Which mudflaps are you referencing?

Much appreciate you sharing all this. Looks like it would be quite challenging to navigate that website and order the trunk liner (do you read Chinese?), but that looks like the best trunk liner I've seen so far.

If you Google "BMW X7 mud flaps" you will see a bunch of vendors pop up - all appear to be made by the same aftermarket vendor in China. Difficult to tell how well they will fit since I could not find any good installed photos. But at ~$80 a set, I still may take a chance....

Interesting, thanks. They do look somewhat decent.

I really want to add the shadowline black grill to my Alpine White X7… but I don’t want to spend an addition $2k-$3k blacking out all of the rest of the trim that is included in the shadowline package. Will it look out of place if I just do the grill and leave the rest of the chrome trim?

This is awful

We call it "Kolhoz tuning" here.
Which stands for village style type tuning.
I feel pain watching this picture.
