Dang, I'm in the Bay Area too and mine is "awaiting carrier", just one step back from you, so I bet I just missed the train yours is on - with that i've heard it takes about 3 weeks to get to the dealer in NorCal from "dispatched from the factory"

Oh wow, that's interesting info ... I'd have thought a train! I went with Peter Pan.

Man, I drive past MV every day and they're kinda a ghost town for new cars, at least from what I can see from El Camino in passing by - nothing like it was even 6 months ago!

I haven't seen many X7s around MV area so if you see a dude honk & wave that's me

You are right. MV has very little new car inventory. No x7 at all. I tested an alpines x7. Somehow, I feel XB7 is much heavier than regular x7.
I'm on 101 every day but rarely see x7

My status changed to "in transit" this morning

For some reason BMW is using trucks for X7 rather than train.

My wife's X3 was transported by train to southern ca then by truck to the dealer on the central coast. My X7 was transported by truck from the factory to Richmond CA and then a different truck to the dealer in central coast. The SA said they are seeing more and more vehicles being transported by truck rather than by train now.

I am at CA. Possible to get it by end of Oct?
Beyond that date, I will have to re-apply my auto loan.
Hey. Mine started "dot 3" on the same day! I'm in the New York City area.
Did your dot move ? I'm still at the 3rd
Yep. Still stuck on dot 3 as of yesterday morning.
Mine was on dot 3 two days ago. Only sat at dot 3 for a week. Today was a big jump!

I think transport by truck would be preferred. Fewer chances of scratching the car.

No it's a 40i so no BW option. Only thing I could think of is individual color. Drevit Grey

Congratulations! How do you like it?
I'm still waiting. Left Kansas City on the way to Richmond. So next week?

wow ! all the reviews about "blue dots" being stagnant for few weeks and then jumping 2-3 spots a day, is so true and welcome news.

I ordered my 40i in early Sept...was stuck on the 3rd dot for 4 weeks....and now in the last week, I have jumped 8 dots to "Awaiting carrier assignment".

I am in Florida, so relatively short drive from SC. What is the typical time everyone in the South is seeing going from carrier to dealer?
