Dang, I'm in the Bay Area too and mine is "awaiting carrier", just one step back from you, so I bet I just missed the train yours is on - with that i've heard it takes about 3 weeks to get to the dealer in NorCal from "dispatched from the factory"

Man, I drive past MV every day and they're kinda a ghost town for new cars, at least from what I can see from El Camino in passing by - nothing like it was even 6 months ago! I haven't seen many X7s around MV area so if you see a dude honk & wave that's me |

My wife's X3 was transported by train to southern ca then by truck to the dealer on the central coast. My X7 was transported by truck from the factory to Richmond CA and then a different truck to the dealer in central coast. The SA said they are seeing more and more vehicles being transported by truck rather than by train now. |

wow ! all the reviews about "blue dots" being stagnant for few weeks and then jumping 2-3 spots a day, is so true and welcome news.
I ordered my 40i in early Sept...was stuck on the 3rd dot for 4 weeks....and now in the last week, I have jumped 8 dots to "Awaiting carrier assignment". I am in Florida, so relatively short drive from SC. What is the typical time everyone in the South is seeing going from carrier to dealer? |
