50mm ball only, 13 pin connector and it doesn't have hooks for safety chains.

Volvo has a 2" electric hidden receiver for the XC90 though, no reason BMW couldn't do the same for the NA market.

Great point. I'll take the added flexibility of a robust receiver assembly over looks any day of the week.

They have a range of sized balls with safety hocks as aftermarket for such OEM In NA and OE in EU
