November production thread

I thought I'd start a thread for all week 44-48 productions. Post your configuration, updates and ultimately pictures here. Might help with the wait time…

- allocation 10/4/2022
- scheduled for production 10/5/2022
- anticipated: week 45
- m60i/ carbon/tartufo/carbon trim

Ordered October 6, but had some issues getting it to go through with Individual interior & trim. Sales guy got it through on 10/12. They already had an allocation so I received a production number that day. Expected build Week 48. This is my second X7…ordered a 2019 50i the moment they hit the ground back in the day.

This build is M60i, Skyscraper Grey, Ivory/Grey Interior, fine wood ash grain trim.

Started process in mid July. Dealer had no allocations. My first time with BMW and this dealership. Late August received production number and Build of week 44.

I had two individual items. Atlas/ Grey leather and interior Piano black trim.

How are you guys checking your builds?

I'm going through the website and have gotten an error for the past two weeks.

Tried deleting cookies, switching computers....etc...

I was in the same situation. Tried everything, different browsers, computers, networks etc to no avail. I finally made a new BMW ID (eg instead of email@gmail.com, I made one as email@googlemail.com) and was able to add my vehicle without any issues…

10/8 production scheduled (week 46... 11/14 I guess *typo)

It won’t let me add the new car to My BMW app with just a build code — wants a VIN. But mygarage.bmw.usa website let me add it to track.

you wont be able to add to the app till the car is delivered, even after you get a vin.

This is exactly what I have now in my 2019 (except the 50i then didn't have an M in front of it and it used to be ivory/navy instead of ivory/grey). It's a gorgeous combo; you'll love it!

Congrats!! I was debating the leather dashboard - what made you add it?

It also adds leather to the door tops, glove box area, and the seat back pockets I believe. It's a much richer feel. Go for it!

Gets automatically added when choosing Full leather, currently have it on my M5, gives it a more premium feel.

Once in production you cannot.

Apparently it's scheduled to start production on week 47.

What does that mean though? How long would it take to actually receive my vehicle?

Ordered July 7th. Dealer had allocations. Should be built week 45.
40d M-sport with all available options. Saphire black with black full merino leather.

Week 47 is around November 22nd, and should take a week after that to get transported to your dealer

Wow. That's quick! And that would be perfect. Wife's birthday is on 12/17 so I'm trying to get the car to her before then.

btw... does week 47 mean that it starts production or finishing production on that week?
