Damn thats BS…from what I heard from my dealer, all alpina xb7 ‘24 allocations were secured a long time ago and none available through the end of 2023, might be worth the wait…but I get it, it’s tough to wait that long

I don’t see what makes the Alpina worth $30k-$40k over the M60i tbh. I’d go with the M60i and spend $30k on something else but that’s just me.

Can anyone tell me the normal duration for this step, if there is one? I would have thought less than a day if there were no quality-related issues. I also understand that this might be a waiting-for-parts delay.

Mine was in QC for just over 3 weeks. Jumped to awaiting carrier on Sunday. No movement since. Dealer called Monday and said should be ready for delivery by end of next week.

I just went from order received to scheduled for production, week 20 is my supposed build, how long is this step on average till production starts?

It took me about a week for an X7 x40i.

Got mine Monday, dropped it off immediately with my detailer, and got it back today. It’s incredible. My first BMW.

Production went smoothly/fast for my M60i but my dealer just reached out to let me know I have a 5 week wait from release to carrier (yesterday) to estimated delivery at the dealer in the PNW. I have to imagine it’ll come sooner than that but maybe not?

That’s just about what it takes to get here from Germany! Anyone else have a recent data point from Spartanburg to Oregon?

Mine also has dispatched from factory and my dealer said the same thing - I’m in Oregon. It’s a combo train and truck rides so not st forward.

My X7 40i says Dispatched from Factory. Dealer says arrives tomorrow latest Tuesday. I live in FL so I suspect it is just a truck ride. I guess there is no way to track the truck.

It kinda takes on a greenish tint depending on how the sun hits it.
