No way!!!!!!! You got Alpina to black out all the chrome at the factory! Okay, now I'm super jealous. I don't know if they would have done it for someone other than you, but had I known that could be done, I might have ordered an Alpina as well!

In Germany only, yes they can do black rims and blackened chrome, also provide with lavalina leather.
Noting above, won't be available for order in US.

   - Air Breather mit seitlicher Zierleiste in Schwarz Hochglanz.
   - Zierleiste vorne in der Frontschürze in Schwarz Hochglanz.
   - Zierleiste in der Heckschürze seitlich in Schwarz Hochglanz.

Black badging is a must. These are the details that make a huge difference. One of the first things I did was order black badges from Germany.

How does the production line work on one of these? Do they take a standard spec X7 and modify it or are custom XB7 parts added along the production line in order with the other X7's.

This truly makes the Alpina XB7 look incredible. The whole factory Alpina black out package with black lettering and all the black details transforms the whole car. Enjoy your new beast.

In germany we have that jealousy "problem". A normal person do not see that this is an alpina. I'm not sure if a add it again.

My info about that is, that Alpina sends all adjusted parts to Spartanburg and it is assembled on the x7 production line.

I see drilled brake rotors in the pictures. This must be for EU orders only.
I am getting a little upset with BMW and Alpina for they way they have limited the US buyer. No full Shadow line, no display key, no lavalina leather.

That is the "High Performance Braking System", for reference the order number:

Code:
208G Hochleistungs-Bremsanlage mit gelochten Bremsscheiben und High-Performance-Bremsbelägen
You couldn't order that? May be possible that this can only be done in Buchloe (Germany). And good eyes. Didn't expect it, that someone see this detail :P

Yeah, the black makes much more sense. I was laughing when I saw that Alpina looks like a basic X7 setup with all the chrome parts.

Didn't see it as an option when I was building mine. Never asked if it was optional as a Special Order either but from what I see it might not be offered for US market at all.

Might be a good idea to make a list with all the options not available to US buyers compared to European ones so we know what we are missing out

Due to shortage of parts and broken logistics between countries, we will just piss ourselves off with long list. I already waiting 4 weeks for a headlight and different parts from Germany to fix my car.

Looks great.Only thing missing that i would want would be M seats but those are never included in Alpina models anyway. This whole package should be offered in North America. It makes the XB7 look like a proper performance SUV.I guess this is as close to an X7M as we are going to get from BMW.

Yeah, not ideal at all. Can't wait for my Alpina to arrive so I can enjoy it.
