At my dealers, I saw three M40i’s, one black sapphire, one sophisto grey, and one carbon black. They all looked good with sunlight on them, but I just liked the look of the carbon black one, it was like two colours - it looked black along certain surfaces but had a deep blue glint on exposed corners where the sunlight hit. And the contrast of the cerium grey trim against it, for me, looked just right.

My M40d order is carbon black with black vernasca. If I said that I’d thought about other leather colours it’d be the understatement of the year!!! The black with blue stitching is a major contender, as is the Tartufo. Wish there was a black Merino option!

The new models are totally different to the earlier model! So nice!!

Hello,

I have a 2013 BMW X3 m sport that I am currently upgrading. I have wired the newer xenon headlights from the 2015 - 2017 model onto my car and have fitted the front bumper, however; all the lights work when the car is switched to accessories but switch off when I start it.

Is the computer reading it and shutting it down? I need to know!

Has anyone done an upgrade like this?
