I saw that Bentayga parked at the Rosen Centre in Orlando last week when I was there. It sounds like we might have been there for the same reason

I wish they would get rid of the protruding seam on the bolster on the lower seat, it really annoyed me on recent road trip. They keep making the seats worse and worse, most comfortable seats ever were the comfort sport seats in my E60 M5 and also had them in E70 X5, F15 seats were better than X7. Even the sport seats in my E34 are more comfortable than X7.

Realistically, the GLS63 AMG is probably where I am looking at in size needs. Can’t go back to a RR either.
Wasn't the new Defender supposed to have a full size 7 seater version, all the Rovers are not full size 3rd row.

Hopefully because the full size 7 seater options mostly suck.

Is the X8 or 9 whatever gonna be full size?

Detesting split head lights rules out the Cayenne, right?

The Porsche has a separate light strip beneath the main headlights (rather than above the main headlights like the new X7).

These are all private and daily paid resort hotel parking lots. I park out in no man’s land with the full size trucks. This is to avoid the many unique pitfalls that you can get with a nice vehicle at a Disney resort. I am a seasonal traveler and could write a book. All high end vehicles do this and park together and are all staggered parking starting with the pick ups. I get to know them and they get to know me. A 911 Cab was next to me in a diagonal three spot parking. Mega $ RV busses are there as well. Only down fall is it’s a 1/4 mile longer walk to the beginning of the private resort parking lot.

And if I saw that I would have purposely parked my car as close as I could to yours.

Yeah I park my cars in back spots too, or right next to the curb but taking 4 spots is complete asinine.

FYI: I am taking up two spots because there is a light pole and a large square island it’s sitting in next to my vehicle taking up half of the other two spaces.

Haha, ok, but still looks 4 to me. I mean I've seen those light poles hundreds of times and you can still park in those sports unless you're driving a dually. But hey you can do what you want right, but I guarantee you there are other a$$holes in the world that would potentially f* with your car when they see that.

Not sure what "a seasonal traveler" has to do with parking on 4 spots. I get it about parking in the back, I am doing this with all cars, even over 10 years old. Each ding hurts. I visited only 70+ countries so far, maybe therefore I don't get it when I see somebody parking on 4 spots.

The bigger question is why do you care how others park their vehicle? I choose to park where I want and away not to inconvenience other guests. I have 30+ years traveling in everything from exotics to full size trucks. I know how to feel out a parking lot and where to not be a target or get dings when parking.
The valet kids had no problem with it and parked their long term guest vehicles in a similar fashion. The parking lot security stopped to talk often as I would detail my vehicle and aways gave me the thumbs up in passing. I typically tip the valet $100 + valet fees to park my vehicle myself so I can retain the keys.
Parking procedures were under control and normal at Disney deluxe resorts staying on property. It’s like this every year.

Currently my family is at a 5 star Golf resort that has a in house auto detailing service for guest. Their valet staff is really cool and had me self park up front under cover after we talked cars and detailing tips. A day glow yellow Lamborghini Aventador evo is 2 cars down. Great staff.

Just to clarify it was 2 spots as the other side had a island in it holding up a light pole and when parking in those spots extends the rear of the vehicles into the lanes of traffic.

"A 5 star Golf resort" is not my kind of thing (currently with my family in French Polynesia, in a non-5 star resort, if this matters for parking discussion), so no worries here. However, if you take 4 spots in front of Walmart when I am doing my holiday shopping, I would not be happy.

Production should start in August, so look for allocations to become available in June/July.

dealership starts to take names down now. Once they have build sheet they will reach out to you to talk about custom builds. Then when allocation comes, they will assign to you and charge a premium.

My CA is stating that they will charge at least 10k over the MSRP for the first batch of allocations

I'd suggest finding a new dealer.

I've already been in contact with my dealership. They know what I need and when I need it by. Going with an individual color exterior.

Guessing I'll have one of the early allocations at MSRP.

Exactly...

Anyway, I am surprised based on the general feedback that anybody wants to buy X7 LCI...

That would be a huge deal for me. Simply because I'm not sure I could go back to a midsize luxury SUV after having the X7. I'm currently on a 2200 mile long distance family vacation at Disney/Florida and have a Bentaga parked right next to me in the parking lot and it looks way too small. I thought I had a pic of both but he left.

He left as he was shamed.
He left because you are taking up 4 spots.

Edit: Was joking as I figured you just parked there to take pic but you actually parked like that? WTF.

Car looks stunning.

Would you mind sharing info on which detailing kit you use?
