Protected sockets

What sockets does everyone use for the lug nuts on your vehicles? I'm looking for some 1/2" drive ones.

Previous thread had stated some play in the 17mm version of these: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-schwaben...es/pps-1721lc/

Thanks!

I have the kit you've linked. While the surrounding does provide good protection, they do have too much play. Not terrible, but I'd look at other options.

Poor man's solution is electric tape around the socket you have currently but is not the best solution just the solution in a pinch if you needed to get something done quickly.

I've been using something similar to these for years on my amg and now my X5. They work great.
