BMW X7 xDrive50i G07 2019 Test Mule showing its power [Videos 1080p 60fps/ 4k 360°]

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
There are a lot of test mules in the area around the home of BMW. With a bit of luck you can meet some special prototypes on public roads like the German Autobahn. And with even more luck you meat a test driver who wants to play and you have your dashcam on

Recently I met this BMW X7 G07 2019 test mule. I guess it was a xDrive50i. Its accelaration was extreme given its weight of about 2300kg. After all, the pursuing filming car was a BMW M135i and it really has to struggle to keep up. Enough talk: See here ...

Filmed in 1080p/60fps with the Waylens™ Horizon

Filmed in 360° 4k 3D with the Insta360™ One

PLEASE NOTE: The GPS speed indicator sometimes runs a bit late. Please do not shitstorm due to apparent late breaking at speed limits...

I think its imperessive!! Any opinions?

Many thanks, I love getting into Germany and a clear stretch of road, it is the only country in Europe where you can use any power.

You're right. We're really privileged. I think that's the reason why there are so many test mules on road tests here.

great video, just i think this is x5 rather than x7, first size, second 2nd half of car seems small in comparison to pther x7 spy shots, and last but not least, tail lights are x5 with two lighting stripes up and down

anyways great video, and now you see how fast could be "small" m135i

I'm pretty sure that it was a X7. I showed the video some enthusiasts and they all vote for X7...
Some of the pictures above are a bit clinched because of the wide angle... It is an extremely long car. There are several overtakes in the video where you can watch it closely.

And according to some "insiders" there are road tests with the X7 on the Autobahn around Munich at the moment.

Perhaps some of the forum experts can put their statement here.

Thanks for this vid Looks legit... What impresses is the sheer power this X7 mule has. The opponent is a M135i (tuned or not) as stated. There should be a BIG difference in weight... So there has to be enormous power to compensate this.
V8? Where can I find the complete data sheet?

In addition to the video in the first post another video of the BMW X7 G07 2019 test mule racing on the autobahn.

Filmed in 360° 4k 3D with the Insta360™ One

Impressive!

Ineresting view! Btw this one worked with my Google cardboard (had to test this) Which cam did you use for this?

Really felt like doing 150mph on the autobahn myself!!

Thanks!!
I used an Insta360 One for some test videos including this one.
I think the resolution is not high enough. I will try the Insta360x with higher 5.7k resolution soon...

i am sorry, i really like video, and reallyyyyy like your m135i, but this is not x7its new x5,here are 2clues

on first pic can see that turn signal is inside taillight, just above red line, just like x5, x7 has turn signal under everything just like new 3er

on second picture you can see 2 red bars, x5 has 2 bars, x7 has one thick red bar

if you still claim that was an x7... than good luck

Thanks for you hints. I appreciate that. I'm not the biggest expert in X?-Test Mules. Some other experts recognized it as X7 before I posted. They voted for it because auf the visible exhaust system and the cover beneath. But they're forum experts just like you - so I'm unsure.
I just can claim that it was the biggest BWM X? I ever saw.

If it really was an X5 which engine do you suggest? As you can see in the video it's extremely powerful.

x5 has same engines as x7, so its not important what engine is inside, both have 40i i6 3.0l and 50i v8 4.4l engije with same HP outputs

again, really like your video and your car especially how you chaised it

So I think that it was the 50i V8.
Meanwhile I posted it in the X5/6 section
