Just picked up this beauty and loving it. I had 23 40i and tech and didficulty in using it made it impossible… got rid of that for 2020 M50i with DHP and is fully loaded. Loving the transition and the older one feels like an upgrade haha

Yeah
I had it for short time only and I really liked the drive but couldn’t get past the tech. I drive an E93 M3 which has zero tech so the older gen X7 was still very decent upgrade. I don’t think I would want a car so heavy on tech as the newer idrive. |

Just picked up a '24 XB7, and made some pretty good progress over the last 3 days of ownership trying to learn how to operate it and to find out where all the features are hidden, but the wife is going to need the whole Summer to get completely "connected". Makes my 991.1 pretty low tech..... Last edited by M_Bimmer; 05-28-2023 at 11:58 PM.. |

Yes indeed they are, saw them on the forum somewhere and bought them, extremely easy to slide on and lock in place, they look really nice, will have to see how long they look good for and stay stable, fairly cheap though so will be replacing if they go bad. No tools required for install.

I got mine on Saturday.
My first BMW and I got a lot of help in this forum from ordering. I really appreciate all the information you guys posted. Mine got a minor issue on the delivery day. Check Enging light was on (yeah.. on the same day right after I got it). Dealer checked on it and found an issue on a shutter inside left side of the bumper. They ordered the part and will replace it on Wed. Hopefully I won't have any other problem. |
