What’s your earliest memory?

It was my 5th birthday (1978) at my grandparents house and they got me a Holly Hobby horse to ride around. I was riding it in the house and flipped it on my dome and cut my lip….crying like a 5 year old baby would. My dad picked it up and tossed it into the CulDeSac and it broke in pieces.
I stared out their front window at my dead horse for hours…..

Probably my parents telling me they were getting a divorce. I was 3 and they took me for a walk right after and I remember them each grabbing each arm and doing the thing where you pick up your kid from each side.

5 or 6 years old, spinning around in the living room to make myself dizzy, lost my balance and fell in to a sharp corner of the coffee table and had to get several stitches under my left eye.

Not my earliest memory but one that stands out because it was my first time getting stitches. Fun times.

I think I was 1 or 2 and I remember my dad was laying on the floor in front of the sliding glass door. All the lights in the family room were off and just the glow of the tv lit the room. Well that and the light from the kitchen where my mom was. I had one of those foam basketballs with the suction cup hoop...I remember standing on his stomach to put the ball in the hoop. For some reason I remember that in detail yet I can barely remember what I did 2 years ago. LOL

Being 3 years old and falling down the stairs... probably hit my head... which would explain a lot.

One of my earliest memories is of my grandfather, and the day he bought me my “Big Wheels”.

Due to my father’s job, and our relocating, did not get to spend much time with my grandfather which makes this memory all the more precious to me.

My earliest memories sort of fudge together... not sure what came first.

1) ~3 years old. We had just moved to the states and I had this exact Dukes of Hazzard car. We were at our neighbor's apartment who lived on the floor below us, and I lost the car somewhere. Had everyone searching for it until we found it.

2) 4 years old. I remember us taking my sister home from the hospital after she was born. I remember the car ride home.

3) ~3 years old. My parents had a habit of saying they'd do something I'd ask, and then just blatantly not do it. Sort of a way to get me to shutup. So I returned the favor. They were sitting outside on the front steps and I was walking over to join them. They told me to leave the door open, so I said "ok" and then purposely proceeded to close it, locking us out of the apartment.

Welcome to the new world

I was warm and comfortable when something started squeezing the crap out of me. Next thing I know, some a-hole was spanking my butt, followed by another dimwit who squirted something in my eyes, making them sting like a mofo. After that, some dude removed some skin from my pecker!

Earliest thing I can remember, really in color, is being written around on a 50cc pit bike on the tank. Around the cul-de-sac. I think I was four or five

Somewhere less than 18 months - since still in DC.

I was on the middle landing of the staircase at THE BABYSITTER's house. I had my peepee in my hand, there was a little drop of pee I could see thru the tears. I was asking PeePee "Why do they leave me here?"

I have a photographic memory and remember my first words and my first steps. I'm sure I have earlier memories as well but these stand out to me. I don't have any memories at the house I was born in before I was 6 months old which was extremely weird to me because I remembered everything else. My photographic memory went away around the same time I started smoking cannabis.

I got chased by Betty White's dog when I was about four years old.

As a toddler

Feeding horses through the fence
Napping in my great uncles hay field
Picking peas in the garden
Climbing around rusted/abandoned farm equipment in a tree stand.
