While I understand the functional advantage of the huge kidney grill, I don't find it attractive.
Nice looking interior. The rear looks like a minivan.

22" wheels. Wow that is huge! Not very 4wd ish. I was hoping for a lot more sidewall so that I can hit curbs and run over some stuff without consequence.

stop it...go see it in person. I've seen it in the preview showing 2 months ago. It fits perfectly on the car.

I got say, the interior materials are a step up from the last 2 generations of X5s

Despite how ugly it is on the front, I have to admit they did a great job making the interior look super luxurious. Event the switchgear looks premium.

Overall, I like it. However, based on the interior design and ALL the dimensions, it still seems to me to just be a G05 X5 with a bigger 3rd row.
Those running boards seem pretty big. |

The car has grown on me. I'd love to have one but the X5 is more than enough for most of what I need. This car will be great for those with a very large family or limo services.

yeah, depends on your needs. Some people can do with a +2 seating for the X5. Others need a true 3 row SUV. IMO, with the 3rd row up, the X7 is still too small compared to American SUVs

But , I drove Cadillac Escalade....which is top end in US, and I was totally disappointed. So much chip plastic and the the cue system was Sorry but BMW is light years ahead. It's not everything about size. Lol I had to say it
