MF definitely isn't published and residuals are updated monthly in this thread. I always use Edmunds every 3 years just to validate MF and incentives. My dealer knows when I'm ready for my next lease, I've done my homework - MF, residual, incentives, expected discount.

What I do to keep my finance guy happy, when they grumble about base MF, is purchase BMW Ultimate Care+ ($700 for 3 years cause I go through brakes, LOL)

Yea, good point. I see that BMWFS is currently advertising $1329 lease special but when you read the fine print, I am calculating around 4.4% (0.0183) which is much higher than the base MF. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

https://www.bmwusa.com/special-offer...l-offers-legal

That being said, I guess it's all in negotiation with the dealer and happy to give them something like buying something like Ultimate care etc.

Using a couple of different lease calculator estimates, I'm getting monthly payments close to advertised BMWFS lease promotion using 0.00099 MF.

Also advertised payment does not include applicable taxes. Tax, title, license, registration and dealer fees are additional fees due at signing.

NP at all, updated the LeaseGuide calc and matches the advertised BMWFS lease.

Just took delivery today. All went smoothly except I would strongly urge people to negotiate base MF if you are leasing. I was too busy trying to get to the lowest purchase price that I forgot about the MF.

In addition, don't forget MSD. I did 7 and got close to the base MF of 0.00099...

Bay Area discount

Ordered my X7 40i two weeks ago from a local Bay Area dealer. Went into production five days later. Should be complete on Tuesday.

Got 10% off plus incentives without much hassle. $93K msrp.

Curious which dealer was this? 10% is really good for an order vehicle I think.

Good question. If what I'm seeing on the BMW website now is updated for September, it looks good for 2020 models, but not for 2021. I see almost nothing there for a 2021 40i or M50i.

I have allocations right now that are about to go into production, either for the lot or for a custom build. Roughly, 4 weeks is the time frame. I'm on the east coast, so depending on where you live it could also take slightly longer if I am then shipping a car somewhere else.

It looks like the incentives listed are just for leftover MY2020 models though, yes? No credits right now for MY2021?

Did the residual increase by 1% on 2021's for Sept?

I read elsewhere that the residual increased by 1% and the MF stayed the same.

I placed an order on an M50i yesterday, 9/2. I had the production number from the dealer and was able to track it right away on the BMW website. This morning, it moved on the website from 'Scheduled for Production' to 'Production Begins' and the VIN was populated. I called BMW and spoke with a rep to confirm the progress already (I was surprised at any progress in one day) and was told that it had in fact started production (he gave me the specific time) and that the estimated completion date is 9/17/20.

I know it will be a few weeks after that for shipping, but so far the build timing seems quick.
