Who's trading in their M2 for the M2CS/GTS?
And what year/production date is your M2?

Unlikely for me. I am waiting on my 2018 week 38 LCI -- hopefully will be here by mid Nov.
I have no desire to trade it in for the CS. My plan is to enjoy it as it's more than enough power and torque for me given my current skill level (assuming I do track it; I definitely plan on auto crossing it a couple of times a year). Depending on how I feel about it, I'll either keep it, or if I do trade it in, it will be for the next gen Cayman GT4 (release date should be some time in early 2019). How about this option poll option:
Wait until the car is released until making a decision.

I'm asking out of genuine curiosity to gauge what people here think is worth it for this car. I acknowledge it's hard to answer that question definitively until the car comes out and is tested on a track/roads. |

No desire to get on that Merry-go-round. Been there with computers and smartphones. I plan to enjoy my 18 M2 for a long time.

Was 1st on a list then:-
Saw a great deal on a 'regular' Saw the M4CS pricing vs M4 I was out then. Might try (but be too late) if it's epic and not much more but...unlikely on the price front. Next step if I choose it would be M2 GTS...

And youre getting it in November? Weird... How do production and delivery dates work? I was told I would be getting mine in mid October and I just got my production number after I put my deposit down two days ago. Am I probably not getting mine in October? D:

This is what I'm being told by my local dealer, and the reason may be to keep me from being disappointed if it doesn't arrive earlier, which I'm fine with. If it ends up getting here the end of October, I'll be pleasantly surprised. |

I'm thinking if the Performance Edition M2 was already priced at around $62k, I'd expect this thing to start out at least 5k-8k more. There will always be something better coming out, a never ending cycle. The price point of the base M2 still makes it more of a bargain IMO. |

M2 CS price over regular M2 won't be anywhere near what the price hike is for the M4 CS over regular M4.Other then the S55 engine, the M2 CS won't be getting as many upgrades.
My guess is that it will be a five to ten grand price hike in Canada over the regular M2. Last edited by SW19; 08-20-2017 at 07:16 PM.. |

You need to first find out what week production yours is-- that will tell you when it's being built.

The poll result could be misleading as it shows on the surface that majority of m2 owners/fans really prefer base model.
Should you be allowed to start all over again, few of us wanted a "less" hardcore m2 the same way we didn't want a 235/40 to begin with. The real point to discuss here is if m2 CS is worth m4 ZCP money. And that's a question also mostly for those that's not a base m2 owner. m2 owner better be looking at a turbo charged 911 for a meaningful upgrade. No question asked.
