Rebadging is stupid......especially rebadging to a model that shouldn’t even have M badging in it to begin with (and this is coming from someone who has a M550).

I am in process of ordering X7 M50d with options 320 and 3DZ - no badges at all.

Love that. I only have the X7 badge remaining on mine (black) and I considered pulling that off too.

I used to drive an Audi A5 and pulled all the badges of. So much better looking neat and clean and understated.

FWIW, I have an alcantara steering wheel on my existing drive, a 2004 330i w/ZHP performance package. Original owner, I bought it 15 years ago, and still have the original steering wheel on it. It has some wear, but still feels nice and spongy soft in the grip. Love it.

Doesn't bother me you ask? I guess I would say yes to that question because I don't understand why that person isnt happy with what they own. Does it bother me in the ...arghhh I want to beat that person up? Nope. It bothers me in the ...awww I feel sorry for that person because they're trying to be something they're not.
No need to feel sorry for me or anything and no i'm not trying to be something i'm not you or anything... This is why I created this thread in the first place to see if I should even consider doing this, guess you didn't read the question properly.

And by the way i've decided to delete the 'xdrive 40i badge'.
