There are some differences in interior, that make the X7 a little more upscale. But I do agree, they're generally minor, and the two interiors are virtually identical.

Now, compare that with a 5er vs 7er. If I showed you a picture of either one of those, you'd be able to tell within 2 seconds which is which.

However x7 is $13k more than the X5 and the 7 series $30k more than the 5 series starting price. The 7 series starting price is $10k more than the X7.

Think we are getting what we are paying for, no qualms here for if the platform was different the X7 would be much much more expensive.

Who is this reviewer? At the 5:00 mark he says the X7 has been redesigned for 2019. Ha. Then goes on to explain what's new with the exterior for the redesign. Seriously? I turned it off as soon as I heard this. Obviously clueless.

The F95 (X5M) will have a Alcantara headliner and full leather (always has). LED sky-roof is a gimmick and power rear sunshades is useless.

I disagree... power rear shades useful in sunny climates. I drive the car, want shades down for clearer view around me as I drive and clear for other traffic. Park for the day, want to keep the car cool, press button and shades come up. Don't have to get out and put each side up manually.

I am not so sure.

As the owner of a G30, the front of the cabin, including the dashboard, shares much with the current G11/12 7 series. Yes there are differences there but for anyone not acquainted with these cars, is not that easy to tell from photos.

The real differences in the interior are far more apparent in the rear seat where the 7er delivers limo like levels of leg room and some other creature comforts.

when the guy starts talking, you see the wrinkles (left side of the left back chair) as on the G05.

the crapy design continues....
BMW has switched the seat suppliers. I suspect the wrinkling is part of the reason why they dumped the current supplier.

Anyone considering a Spartanburg, SC built X5 or X7 should wait until the new seat supplier has officially entered the assembly line.

BMW has already made the change to the new seat supplier for the Spartanburg plant. The new seat supplier is Magna and the old seat supplier was Lear. All of the seats in the new X5’s and X7’s have been manufactured by Magna.

Once you go M, no going back.

Would rather spend the $$$ on a vehicle with a S63 engine, than an under powered B58.

Why is the B58 underpowered? And furthermore compared to what?

I’ve owned everything under the sun in this niche and satisfaction has never been positively correlated to bhp for this kind of vehicle

Height adjuster switch is there when the car has air suspension. X7s come standard with it, X5s get it as a stand-alone option or as part of the Offroad Package.

Nope, wrinkling has nothing to do with quality control or poor workmanship. Check my post on the first page, it's there by design.
