Thanks! Can you confirm if all those functions are actually working? Looks like you already coded ASS off.

When you first use this app, does it keep settings as stock or does it make changes right away ie disable auto start stop

When the app reads all of the ECU modules in the car (it does this when it connects to the car) it will show you the current state of the options that are available to change. Once you make any changes you want, you then code (or save) the updated settings to your car. Your original options are stored as a backup in case you want to revert back to your original settings.

Still no coding available in Carly for BMW. No doubt they'll support the X7 someday but for now, DO NOT BUY Carly. False advertising IMO.

Does anyone know off hand what is the fastest PDC/Top View Switch Off Speed Threshold that can be coded? I see it's at 35 kp/h in the screenshots above? Thanks.

That Off means that memory is off. The screenshots are all of my X7 defaults.

I coded it later that's the ASS memory on. It works as expected.

I did have trouble at first. For that one particular setting I believe the engine has to be off. I used diagnostic mode instead. With the engine off, push Start/Stop three times quickly. It's will start iDrive and put a message in the instrument panel.

Actually, the speed settings are just hex values that can be set to any value you want corresponding to any speed you want. However, in order to set a speed value other than what is listed, you will have to use Expert Mode and enter the hex value for the speed you want. For example, I did this for the speed value at which I can fold in my mirrors on my F80 so that whenever I am driving on a real narrow street or a tight traffic situation, I can fold them in (or for better aerodynamics when on the highway ).

Check on the BimmerCode website for compatible OBD2 adapters. I know that the G-series cars have limited adapters that will work when compared to the F-series cars so I don't want to give you a bad recommendation.

Yup, but unfortunately BimmerCode does not support that for the ECU in the X7. Only one of the ECUs support Expert mode. I may need to bust out ESYS.

Not yet... The developer for BimmerCode is pretty aggressive about improving functionality with the app so I am sure more functionality is coming. E-Sys is always a good option as long as you can get your hands on the updated data for the G-series cars....

I second these items on your list:
- ability to lower vehicle with remote or on park automatically (this is would be a great option!)
- toggle camera views while in park
- MPG on screen with total miles
- turn anti dazzle headlight function back on
