headlights are different, I need to see them in person wrap my mind around them. Im still a little unsure about them personally but overall it does look good

It doesn't look bad actually but it does look very Kia/Hyundai. It's not distinctly BMW. But hey BMW designers are "bold" now aka heritage is irrelevant and the grilles need to be as big a possible.

The decision to make the DRLs pencil thin thus necessitating a chunk of usable headlight below it is a really dorky move and a trend that's already on its way out.

BMW design continues to get worse. Every new car has some weird elements front and/or back. Otherwise it's nice.

It's the tried and true B58 but this is the "M2"
revision (current engine in most application is the M1, the M340,m240 have the "O1" @382hp) I wouldn't think of it as new but an upgrade d variant based on learnings to date.

Torque is up a lot more than expected, even without the hybrid boost it has more torque than the O1

Torque is up a lot more than expected, even without the hybrid boost it has more torque than the O1

Maybe they are using the torque powers from the mild hybrid system they snuck into my 2021 M340i?

Yeah, especially in mountain driving. I'm guessing you just pull it back to switch between D and S but you have to use the paddles now to actually pick gears?

Are the laser lights history now and BMW gone back to full led for the fronts?

So much for Marina Bay Blue being exclusive for the full on M's.

Hopefully BMW can program the missing 8 memory tabs onto the pool iDrive LCD now.

Don't like how the curved display is not built into the dash. This will be a problem for the future convertibles due to the glare.

We all know now that the upcoming 7 series and XM will have the new curved I Drive display.

The drive selector is the the same from the iX. Hopefully the LCI X5M and X6M keep the current M leather selector.

50k less lol? Fully loaded M60i and GLS63 are same price, maybe 3-5K difference at best. Fully loaded M60i will be in the 120-125 range, right there with the GLS.

EDIT: I claim myself as too eager and uneducated as the GLS63 entry price is 135k indeed. My bad.
