Actually no - because I have been going crazy both on my X5 and the X7 with this abnormal wind noise I often times hear. It really does sound just like that and it is also coming from the windshield area. It took me months to figure out that the active AC shutters can take a "normal" position which creates this very high pitch annoying wind noise because of how the air is being push through the small shutter space. Once I did what I suggested, I was able to stop the noise - but yeah - this is a design flaw and I've come to just live with the noise.

I've got a 19 X7 and wife has the new Escalade. To me, these vehicles have different customers. The Escalade is much bigger and doesn't feel as quality as the X7. You might consider the new RR. I had a RR before the X7 and enjoyed it; considering going back.

BMW has changed from classy/sporty to gimmicky/tacky. It seems like they are trying too hard. Along with removing options and features (possibly due to chip shortage) but taking away fog lights from X3,X4,X5 models really loses the suv/sav look. The downgraded shift lever design losing the illuminated gear selections in it also is a loss. They have been vocal about not taking into consideration buyers thoughts on designs which is just offending. I personally went with a pre LCI X model over LCI because the newer ones just lost that BMW look. Now the interior of this X7 is so simplified it doesn't have that grand feel with the one long screen. No design intergraded into the dash board. Almost like they want to introduce the Tesla style limited interior design because they are going to push electric vehicles. I always looked at BMW and MB on the same level of design which makes it nice to compare between which one to buy. Now it shows that BMW is going on a different direction but I am still attracted to the other way. It could be MB for the next vehicle purchase.

On a happier note, we're first in the queue for one at our dealer. My guess is that it will be pretty impressive in person all blacked out with the M-sport front end. It will be my wife's car, I think she's going black inside and out with the 23s. Should be sweet. I'm not sure what it is with BMWs, but they always look better in person. I'm sure this one will as well. However, I think the G80 looks nice and aggressive. I'm just hoping it doesn't make my X5MC look too dated, the old GL450 gets her to September without costing me much more, and we let Elon deal with politics on Twitter.

That has to be frozen or else the photo editors need fired. I agree the PR is unclear about it though.

One news outlet said that MBB and frozen MBB are both supported options. However only MBB appears in the Canadian ordering guide and the early UK configurator. Will post the news link if I find it.

I think I was clicking around the bmw pages for the car and noticed they actually called out frozen mbb as the color.

Some observations: I did not pay any attention to it while I had mine so correct me if I'm wrong but...are the memory-buttons for the passenger side a new feature?

Also, the light two tone interior with the gray might be the lightest full leather option. That is also supported by the Canadian order-guide. New as well: The chrome-strip on the back of the front seats.
