I was going to post the pics on m3forum about how awesome it was and people were stupid to not come

But forum seems to dislike me and think I get paid by companies to post events when I don't...I mean Button Willow President himself hosted this event for crying out loud... if I knew him/got paid by him, I'd be up at BW getting free track days lol

Yeah, M3's, S2k, 370Z's, a couple of Cayman's, lots of Mustangs, several 'Vettes. Driver of that yellow Vette was pretty fast. And, James' wing looks awesome!

With the configuration that we ran:

no Bus Stop, but Dog Leg;

no Sweeper, but Star Mazda Turn; and,

no Off-Ramp, but whatever that extended turn is called,

this configuration is longer or shorter than CW13? I'm thinking longer...

(CW13 would've been with those beige sections)

the off ramp and mazda turn are much slower and longer turns than normal cw13

That's why I posted this question (Off Ramp & Mazda Turns are much longer, but Bus Stop route is longer than Dog Leg.

But, on balance, I think it was substantially longer than CW13.

yes
threw bus stop your still carrying very high speed. the drag strip or dog leg does cut down time..but the 2 other corners make the configuration much longer and slower

according to my data log....through mazda corner, speeds reduce to 45 mph. thats much slower than what you'd normally do through the sweeper

I went sideways there and almost lost it a couple times... I learned from my last time on the sweeper though..lol.

Even the instructor went sideways over there in my car (forgot his name, I think Peter West? Peter something, the guy in the Blue shirt)

It was a fun turn though. and I LOVED the S turns that come after it. Sorry Brian I was on your ass..I didn't know you were going to get off the track.....

In the morning, it was whatever...but when it opened up I really liked it and had a blast.

I think it's natural for forum members to think that way. There are so much commercial-interests on these forums. Some forums way more than others, of course.

well i don't know about your but for me, the sections weren't the issue....the traffic was...

I didn't have a clean run all morning (even when I wanted to go slow!)

Oh, you guys were running the configuration BW #1. They seem to like to run it during open track days for some reasons. I ran once, it was fun, but as much as #13.
