If you have ready access to a 911 Turbo with a GT3 en route to replace it, the X7 4.0 will be fine as a family hauler. Power cravings look to be covered...

I just did the same transition. Obviously not the same but I honestly don’t miss the power. The X7 does everything I need it to with enough power and gives a feeling of confidence.

If you have a GT3 on the way, don't worry about the M50i unless you're looking to burn a hole in your pocket. I live in the city with three kids, and garage space is limited. I don't have a dedicated fun car, so the M50i is my utilitarian hauler and fast mover.
