Anyone in the market buying a new 2024 or 2025, how much below MSRP are you getting. I am in Chicagoland and the dealers are telling me 4% below over the MSRP over the phone, but they want me to come in person to get a better deal. Before i visit the actual dealership i wanted to go with some reasonable counter offer what other are paying.
We have over over 100 new X7 within 50 miles of Chicago sitting at the dealer lot. This dealer has 34 new - https://www.billjacobsbmw.com/new-vehicles/x7/ I am wondering if there is a huge difference in price between and 2024 or 2025. Thanks |

If you want to custom order a 2025, I would suggest starting with broker pricing as the baseline for negotiation with the dealer. Pricing spreadsheets from multiple brokers are available here, which you can find with a quick search. All are in the range of 8-9%. Email the dealer and offer them that yoy have a configuration ready and that if they can match or exceed broker discounts, you will order through them today. That’s what I did. Edited to add: Don’t reward dealers who play games. I walked out of a dealer on principle when he refused to take off a $600 dummy fee. Imagine losing a $100k+ sale over $600. DAP being $400 more means newer customers are helping pay for the earlier brake booster mishap. What a way to lose a customer base! |

Longtime lurker, first time poster...
Has anyone managed to get a good discount from any BMW dealerships in the northeast? I have been looking at on-lot MY24's but would be open to a custom order too. The best discount I've managed to negotiate is 4% which seems kinda low. |

UPDATE: Dealer with my deposit is now giving me 7% vs 5.5%.
FINALLY locked in a MY25 M60 with almost every option (besides the Crystal Headlights). Locked in 5.5% and then 3 days later (yesterday) competing dealer came back with 7%, but I've already put down my deposit with the one at 5.5% (good, bad or indifferent). Everyone started hard and around 1% then 3% - 4.3% and then there was a standstill for a bit. After a lot more back and forth, finally got to 5.5%. This is BEFORE all incentives (Military - $4,000, BMW CCA - $1,000). Since there are fewer M60's, one should expect to get less discount than on the 4.0s - this at least my experience. Check on Dealer inventory in your area and you will see for example a total of 9 X7's on a lot with maybe 1 being an M60. I will say working with a broker (he was great to work with and highly reputable) was very positive, but I'd have to ship it and figure out more logistics vs buying 'relatively' local and not paying for additional shipping. Happy to share his contact info - PM me if you aren't seeing these discount levels as he can secure you one with a great discount. Needless to say, excited for this new addition to arrive! UPDATE: Politely let the dealer with my deposit know it appears April incentives changed and they should revisit discount as I've got 7% from another dealer and they matched. Guessing others out there can still do better in some geo's on an M60 as I'm in the Northeast, but hopefully these are valuable data points for all. |

Is there a $4000 dealer allowance and $500 loyalty available for X7 40i?

Just spoke to a dealership and they are saying 6.6% off MSRP for 2024 over the phone. He claimed they are selling it below invoice (5.5%) but are willing do a bit more once I come to the dealership.
Anyone know what is the invoice on the X7 and how much off MSRP are you getting on 2025? Thanks |
