Happy Holidays guys. I'm in Toronto with my BMW garaged back in Montreal... I miss it!

Stew, this is probably a long shot but did I see you on the 401 heading east at about 3pm on Friday? Not sure where exactly but it wasn't far out of Quebec. I was heading in the other direction and saw the SG E90 with fogs/xenons beaming.

Long shot denied, Tom. At 3pm Friday I was somewhere in the Waste Island making my westwards towards hearth and home.

I usually don't run with my fogs, just the Xenons.

Congratulations Ssam.

I love these winter tires as well, very effectifve and confortable, but a little loud (its the combined run flat + winter tire combo effect).

Happy holidays to everyone! I was out of reach of the internet for the past few days but at least I'm back soon enough to wish you all a great year 2006 (Yeah, we finally get to the model-year of our cars! )!

Well, if it can be of any comfort, imagine just how hard depreciation was to hit if this was a GM product...!

Hey have you guys noticed this? On the SAAQ license certificate, the 2006 BMW 325 is described as having a 2.5l engine... Like they know anything about cars!

Yah, no kidding.

It ouwld be fun to own a SRT-8 Chrysler or Dodge, but the deprish would be horrible once I got tired of burning rubber at stoplights...

Hi guys ! Sorry for being silent so long. I know you probably have forgotten about me already ;( I was busy putting some mileage on my car ! Not really. I just went to Granby. So I'm now at 2600 km ! Wow ! When I'm gonna sell the car in 4 years, I'll probably have something like 12000 km on it !!!

So "deprish" probably won't hit me as hard as any of you guys.

Anyway, I want to wish you a very happy and wonderful new year 2006. I had a so-so 2005 (except for the car of course) and 2006 is not starting on the right foot (just the left one !). Hopefully, it's going to get better. It can't get worst unless sickness starts playing games on us !

2 thumbs up for all of you guys !

Hey Ben,
This down time gives you plenty of time with your family, it's a blessing.

Talented people like yourself always land on both feet!

Have a great 2006 and maybe this summer I'll get to drag race you somewhere and prove my 325xi Step's off-the-line superiority! (Sorry, just watched the "Dukes of Hazzard!")

Happy New year to all of you indeed.

Ben, I hope that you will soon forget about the stress of "what next" - in the meantime, at least you have HER to keep you company

Stew, I always suspected you burb people where hidding deep dark secrets, but 1,000 plants of mari....That house must have given St. Lazare a smell to reach all the way to your house I bet.

For me 2005 was a rollercoaster, but it ended on the right foot and thus 06 is starting the way 2005 ended, which for me is a good thing.

I love my baby more and more every day. My favorite gearing is the acceleration between 2 and 3 - when you step into it in 2 the car just flies-love it.

Happy New Year everybody!

I am loving this snow and rear wheel drive. I can turn the DTC off and pretend I'm the Stig drifting around corners but at very safe and not-scary low speeds. I just spent 20 minutes doing donuts in the parking lot at the grocery store... on the way in AND the way out. Wheeee FWD is for suckas!

Icy parking lot AWD donuts > RWD donuts.

My dad's Murano is the ultimate donut machine. Just make sure you allow A LOT of room for light posts.

Yes folks, I am 25 years old and still get excited about doing donuts in an icy parking lot.

Ohhhhh I would love to have an X5 to play with in the snow. Hey, how about I swing by and promise to bring her back with a full tank of gas before the weekend?

Seriously though, these perfect snowy evenings almost make this hellish climate of ours worth it.... almost.
