Calling all lowered XIs. Lights pointed to low...

Just got back from a night drive and discovered my headlights pointing at the ground. I could not see more than 10 feet in front of me. I recently got my car lowered and failed to even consider the light height. I was wondering if any other lowered XI owners have a quick resolution to this.

Thanks!!

If you pop open the hood, there's a slot for a phillips screwdriver above the headlight. That will adjust the headlight angle.

Check the leveling switches, there should be 2 of them one on the front and one on the rear. Mine were both on the drivers side. The rear one was not hooked up properly and this made the head lights point straight down.

the issue isn't in the self leveling. they still self level it's the front of the car is much lower so the beam starts off from the headlight at a much lower angle to the road so it doesn't shine as far out.

^^ Not enough. Just make sure your doing it with the lights pointed at something like a wall. I might have gone 3 or 4 turns each I can't remember.

Maybe your rear height is lower than your front...

I am not sure with the ride of the i is, but the xi is way high in the front. So even if I have an even drop all the way around, I know that the front dropped a lot more than the rear overall.
