Since this is the Z3, does this mean if we saw inside that the seats would be a lot lower to the ground? Don't you sit really low and between axles in a Z car vs a sedan/coupe where you sit above (so there is room for a backseat)?

Yes! I have been saying that using design of the 328 Homage concept on the Toyota FT1 template, would look fantastic! I like the idea of a vertical grill on the Z cars too, I think its time to evolve from the current wide horizontal kidney grills in BMW design...

These front ends on all the Z cars would be fantastic!

By my estimation.....

Bonnet is off the M235i Racing... probably the boot lid too.

Roof is M2 production roof.

But, totally a Z3 mule, since that what SCOTT had said. Just happens to use bits already out there.

The guy who photo shopped the car forgot the front plate. When was the last time you saw a test car in Germany not have front and rear plates. Germans are pretty strict about their rules and no one drives around with just a rear plate. I don't even see screw holes in the front bumper.

How does Z3 even make sense from a nomenclature standpoint being that BMW now wants every car with 2 doors or a coupe roofline to have an even number. This sounds incredibly arbitrary.

just when i thought the 2-series couldn't look any more bulbous and terrible..they shortened the wheel base, yanked down the roof...and made it look like a freakshow of a mule! ICK.

my wife will be very pleased there is a 'new Z3' coming though.....she has always wanted a Z3. I really hope it has cues from the 328 Hommage as stated; that car was sensationally cool.
