New rear rotors not spinning at all
Replaced rear rotors and decided to adjust handbrake shoes as handbrake was very weak, I'm not sure if its something I done or what but basically even if I loosen handbrake shoe adjuster to the max the rotors still wont move at all and the procedure to adjust it requires to tighten them till the rotors wont move and then loosen 9 clicks, but I obviously cant do that.

Are the shoes properly seated? I've had it on cars before where they've twisted as the discs have gone on which has resulted in them binding up. There may be more BMW specific stuff but I'd pull them off and check for any witness marks. Also, are you sure you've adjusted the barrel the correct way? And I don't mean that judgementally, I've done it before, several times in fact, and had numerous swearing sessions before having a cup of tea and then realising my error.

Maybe take the disc retaining bolt back out and make sure it’s the rotor not turning rather than the hub it’s screwed to. If it is the shoes holding it it’s weird that it’s both sides, are you definitely managing to wind the adjuster back off?

Ok turns out I was complete retard, and forgot i left a bolt inside where the calliper bolts go as discs were stuck and I used the bolt technique to take them off and completely forgot about it.

The best possible outcome: lesson learned and no additional cost. All is well.
