Is there anything to protect paint from fallout?

Finally got around to clay bar my AW 335i this weekend and it was painstakingly tedious to get all of the fallout out of the paint.

In hindsight, I shouldn't have waited so long but does Opticoat or any similar product good for resisting fallout?

You'll never protect against fallout but you can make your life easier by keeping on top of it, like keeping you car waxed and by buying a decent fall out remover, I use Auto Finesse Iron Out and I'd recommend it.

OptiCoat is good. At least get a couple of coats of sealant on it. Menzerna Power Lock Polymer Sealant is good stuff.

How frequent should we be waxing our cars? I used to do it once ever 2 months.

Try ebay.

A professional detailer recommended these products to me so I trusted his experience since he does this for a living on some serious high performance cars.

1. Valet Pro Dragons breath
2. Auto finesse Triple polish
3. Gtechniq C2 V3 Sealant
4. Car Chem clarity glass cleaner
