Only in the fact that at the Beltway, I would slide over to Hwy 1. Not that bad on stoplights; or all the way over to 95, then 198. I do know that 295 after the beltway can get kinda bad, but I seemed to slide up 495/95 w/o a problem.

Agree. 295 could be a parking lot.
Take route 1. a few lights but it moves.
taking 95 will be a longer drive in slow moving traffic.

Actually, I can't speak for 295 through DC, but I would think it would be okay. I just know it is a parking lot from 495 northward.
