Cost will vary by market (and by skill of the person who applies it), so I will let the OP respond to that one. However, assuming you have a proper install/application, how long it lasts is highly dependent on how well the owner takes care of the vehicle, despite its durable shine/protection qualities. Taking care of a ceramic coated car for maximum durability is not hard, but more involved than most people think. It is not a "set it and forget it" type of thing...

A car that is parked outside and washed a few times a month in a touchless, automatic car wash will see a significantly shorter life span than a car that is garaged (at home and at work) and is washed weekly using a good washing technique and a quality/proper soap.

YMMV when it comes to ceramic coating durability and longevity. And due to the cost of it, good research is paramount to get the best value out of it.

I had the Crystal Serum Ultra applied. They say with proper maintenance, 5 to 7 years. That also requires yearly evaluation and maintenance to keep the coating in good shape.

My buddy owns the company, so I got a pretty good deal. I won't tell you what I paid, but expect about a grand to $1,200 with paint correction.

GTechniq is the best. If you are getting the paint correction + Crystal Ultra + EXO V3 for $1200 I would say that is a great price X7. I did that for my 7 series and the paint looks phenomenal when I hand wash it.

For weekly hand wash use Gyeon foam soap on gun followed by Sonar Car Shampoo Concentrate. Those soaps are quite mild and do a good job on cleaning the car.
