WeatherTech X7 2023

Anyone else have? I figured would work same but retention hooks don’t want to stay in the holes in floor. Bought new from their site

The anchors are difficult to install. You need to press down extremely hard and turn them 1/4 turn. I had to use pliers to exert enough downward force while still having an adequate grip to turn them. A really dumb system -- should have had hook/loop fastener to mate with the OE anchor.

do the retention hooks have a T shape end that goes into the floor, or is it threaded?

they sent me the wrong ones for my X3 earlier this year. it should be T shaped

Now that I remember, I was sent 1 packet of each, and had to request replacement. In addition to being a dumb anchor design, some genius assigned p/n's to the 2 types ending in "6" and "9". Easy for a packer to mis-read.

contact them for the T shaped ones.

they will send them right out, the screw in ones will not work.

something has changed in their production. the latest set of mats i got for my X3 earlier this year did not fit well, the material felt thinner and bowed inward at the edges, leaving gaps. never had that issue in all the years ive used them.

ended up getting kagu 3d maxpider liners, much nicer and their trunk mat is articulated to fold with the 3rd row

Unfortunately it shows the 3D cargo liner for the X7 is out of stock. Looks like a good one.

I see it for X3 & X5. I do not see it for X7 on Amazon. If you have a link, I would appreciate it. Thanks

i checked the link i had from when i bought back in july, out of stock. might just need to wait and see.

it works really nice, it covers the entire cargo area when the 3rd row is folded and has articulated flaps that fold flat at the hinge area when you have the 3rd row up, its seperate so u can raise half of the 3rd row and keep the other half covered.

That's great. I'm sure it will restock. I'll keep my eyes peeled for one. Thanks for the recommendation.
