I did change the exterior color on my order actually. Figured since I am switching brands I better go with a totally different exterior and Interior color than the one currently on my car. Changed it to Alpina Blue Metallic and interior is Coffee Full Merino Leather. Also added RSE. My kids may end up using it on long trips. Car is expected to go into production last week of October. Interior trim I have chosen Individual Fineline Black with aluminum inserts and I think that may be the cause of my car being scheduled to go into production that late. Any idea if the production date can change for earlier if I was to change the trim to a Non Individual one? Read a few posts where people say cars ordered with individual trims push the production for a few weeks later. Will ask my sales rep on Monday too to see what she says.

In my opinion production date won't change if you switch Individual trim for Non Individual. And I love my Alpina Walnut IND wood. |

Did you want the Alpina Green on your car initially? That Alpina Blue is really nice. I wouldn't change it for green. Also would you recommend any additional options? The only ones I haven't added are the Captain Chairs and the tow hitch. My dog rides in between my kids in the back seat so a bench works better for me. As far as the tow hitch goes I have never used the one I have on my car and I don't see myself using it at all. I prefer the look in the back better without it anyway. |

Alpina Blue Metallic is very similar to Phytonic Blue Metallic, and Alpina Green Metallic is classic Alpina color and will definitely put you aside on XB7. No captain chairs for me, too many kids, need extra seating area. I skipped tow pack to have capability for BMW hands free open trunk option. |

The hands free open trunk option is one of the reasons I chose not to have tow hitch and the other was the look. The only things I am yet to figure out is if I want to keep the individual interior trim, how to black out the chrome and if there is a way to get a better price on the car since my dealership only offered like $3K off MSRP. A little off topic but would you please share your opinion on the adaptive cruise control and if you use it often? Some people were complaining their BMWs didn't keep the car in the center of the lane and not as good in general as compared to other car brands. Last edited by NLRMS; 08-24-2021 at 06:50 AM.. |

You say you ordered a custom high resolution sticker. Where did you order it from? Any specifics you can share on the order? Which image file did you use? For the BMW roundels, did you order new ones, apply the stickers to those, and then replace the existing roundels? Were the parts you used 51147498981 (95mm hood) and 51147499154 (82mm trunk). For the trunk, did you use a OEM fully constructed roundel? If so, any details on where to order that from? If you can help me out, I'd be immensely grateful. |

I didn't save links, was long time ago.
Trunk one I bought on ebay from China seller, very good quality, perfect fit. Front one was complicated,I bought 1 original BMW roundel, found one guy on Ebay who selling custom made stickers, send him image I found on internet, and he created custom stickers with little bit more space to adhere to roundel. You can see result on the pictures, just few pages back. |

Ebay: phoenixgraphicsonline. High resolution sticker, ask him through message. Than, buy BMW roundel for front of XB7, I believe 95 mm, and carefully wrap sticker on the top of it. Good luck!!
