Hmmm darker colors definitely suit this "thing". Not sure the gold trim is needed.

I was a bit meh on the design when the concept debuted, but I am starting to really like the design. The only thing that bothers me are the gold embellishments which should have been black in more of a shadowline configuration. I also think the initial colors didn't do the XM justice, and gray, white and black will be where it shines. Generally I love the wheels BMW pairs with their models, but these don't exactly do it for me. They seem to pair better with a Bronco than an XM. Would love to see how some X5M wheels look.

Dravit with the gold flakes in the paint pairs well with gold trim, but not my style.

Cause it's a one off for former BMW M CEO Markus Flasch as the car was developed during his time as CEO and had a major influence in the XM coming to market. BMW executives can choose any color they want.

Wonder if the M lounge rear seat can be deleted at the factory to carry coffins of the dying bread of M enthusiasts?

Is there any option to turn off the illuminated grill on these newer designs? It looks tacky in the same way the illuminated MB Star does.

I think the rear and rear 3/4 are nice enough. The rest of it is just too fussy for my tastes. Looks like some shit you'd see in Rocket League or Halo.

As far as the split headlights- they almost nailed this over the i7 and def the x7.

I think the "hate" in many minds is it's not ungodly fast like a Plaid or Urus. Had this suv posted 0-60 times that made it seem dangerous- it would be a huge win for BMW fanboys.

I drove a performance Tesla the other day and felt it was blindingly fast. Almost a little dangerous. Made me like it a little more where the exterior design doesn't wow me. But the Minimalistic Interior kind of does. Even if it's a car designed for me NOT to drive it

Its not that I don't like it. Its just hard to justify the price for something that is sort of just eh. For 60K less these would see like hotcakes.
