Because these design changes will start at the top 7 series and trickle all the way down to the entry level 2 series line.

The new Escalade is beautiful… unfortunately it still drives like a tank.

I feel as though only the X5/X6 made it through this design change unscathed…

Oh no. What will happen with the X7 will trickle down to the X5 in its LCI. This has been discussed for the last year and really until we see what BMW does come up with, all these renderings are nothing more than speculation.

As a woman, I have to say I have never, ever heard another woman say this. Although, it is hilarious.

Literally, my wife.

Me: What kind of car are you thinking, just so I can help narrow it down for you?

Maybe a bigger V8, 4 cylinder turbo, one with a 3rd row, heated steering wheel, panoramic sunroof? SUV? Minivan? What kind of features do you want?

Wife: After a brief but thoughtful pause ... "white, I think I want a white one. With a cute butt."

It's an X7. Who cares.
If I wanted to go with a monstrously ugly, I'd rather get a Tesla Model X plaid edition. They are both in the similar price range.

This rendering is in as cool as they could make it with frosted matte paint and shawdowline black trim and it’s still ugly. Wait until you see it with chrome trim.
^^^^^ exactly what I get predator it's hideous

BMW use to do aggressive lines with simple elegant lines. This rendering and some current BMW's have lines like a Lexus, Alien look grilles.
in my opinion too busy.

It is not a sports car so it can look whichever way it wants. People dont buy them for Looks.

They buy them for utility + badge + how much it will impress people.

On those fronts, it will have great utility (it is massive), it has the right badge, and it will surely have that f...k off look that will push away toyotas and cross overs once it fills their rear view mirrors.

Job well done.
