Took Delivery Of Our 2023 X7 (Every Option)

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
I just took delivery of our new company car which will be used for marketing, took about 1 month and 10 days from date of order to delivery to Los Angeles!

This is the first time I chose anything but black on black for a BMW of mine and the silverstone is the absolute greatest decision I have ever made.

The interior in person is almost like a gray white and just lifts your mood up unlike black which drains your energy a lot of times.

Car is going under for PPF with our new PPF product and full exterior and interior ceramic coating.

I still don't even have time to figure out 95% of the options I have on this car, but enjoy these pics for now!

I love the leather purists on here vs those of us who are fine with Sensafin.

Agreed haha.

I actually chose the Silverstone because I liked the color and stitch pattern, and I did not like the old creamish color on the Merino, or else cost was no issue.

But either way, I do not regret silverstone whatsoever.

Coming from having both G05 and G07 with black extended merino, and now we have an order in for 2024 X7 with merino, I will say that there is a lot of non leather surfaces inside both G05 and G07 even when you spec extended merino. The leather purists can’t really say much unless you splurge on the full merino if and when that’s an option. Otherwise there is a lot of sensatec on dash, doors, and a lot of other non leather materials inside these SUV’s. Not saying we have a problem with it, just the reality that even when going extended merino, it’s not like the entire interior is covered in leather. And I just sat in a friends G05 with Sensafin cognac and let me say I was very impressed. Honestly I would have probably gone that route this time but my wife prefers the stitch/pattern on the merino seats. In terms of quality, softness, and overall feel, I think bmw has a big winner on their hands with Sensafin.

Do you know if extended merino is ordered, do those pockets at the back of the driver and fron passenger seats get the padded leather pattern or are they flat color with no stitching?

I think their point wasn’t that Sensafin is better or worse… their point was the title of the thread said “Every Option” which is not the case here.
