Still haven't seen another X7 on the road (truly amazing) but today I did make someone's day. At the local carwash, a guy two cars behind me found me by the drying area and asked me if that was indeed the new X7. He had heard about it and had never seen one until mine, asked me a bunch of questions. I felt famous for a few minutes there, like I was driving an exotic.

I finally saw my first X7 on the road this weekend, not in a dealership. Granted, I've been working in the middle east, but still, thought it wouldn't be this long.

Couple pulled up to a place I was leaving in a 2019 50i M-sport. I actually approached them and talked to them about it for a while. They bought it on an impulse, but have been really enjoying it. Took it on some long family drives with a tall family of 4, said it worked great. The guy of the couple felt like the 50i engine was really necessary, and the 40i just wasn't enough.

Such a pretty car.
