Hi,

Has anyone been able to obtain a discount on an x7 for a GLS trade in? I figure BMW would be grateful to offer one to a direct competitor.

That's Called conquest money. There is a loyalty program for bmw owners, but I have not heard of a conquest program yet for the x7. Maybe somebody here knows.

I have seen them advertised for less than MSRP. Check sites like Cars.com or Autotrader and you will find that several dealers are offering incentives or "internet pricing". I am sure you could negotiate even more in person at the dealer as well....

We trade our 17 GLS 550 on an X7 xDrive 50i. They bent over backwards to make the deal.

5% off MSRP
$3,000 more for our trade than MB offered

You just have to find the right dealership.

I traded a 2016 GL550 for my X7 and definitely didn’t get an incentive. But I did get a good trade offer and a nice discount after going to multiple dealers. The Dynamic Handling Package is incredible — make sure to get it. You’re gonna love the X7: so much more fun to drive than the GLS.
