Does anyone know When does the small cover come in Alcantara material like the roof liner ?
Which option is that linked with.

I've also notice that some of these covers have a handle and others don't. How does that works ? How do you get it or with which option is it Included .

Mine is alcantara. I have the alcantara headliner option. It does not have the little handle in your picture.

Is your interior while and blue ?

Mine is alcantara headliner as well, full morino leather yet that cover is cloth

Heimdall, did you find out if the small cargo cover should be in alcantara instead of cloth?

I did indeed
So far it seems that only the vehicles with white and marine blue interior get the alcantara small cover.
Ive checked many on my dealers lot and with parts department.

The only one with a different part number (dark blue alcantara) was the ones with that white and marine blue interior.

My SA stated it can be ordered independently while building the car.

I simply dropped it and made a complain about it to BMW and explained my point of view.

I recently noticed our cargo cover is cloth even though we have black extended merino and an alcantara headliner. Was a bit disappointed by that. When we were looking at the dealer, I remember commenting to the SA about the alcantara cargo cover on the vehicle he was showing us. That particular X7 had Ivory extended merino.

You can't get captains chairs with coffee / you can't get Alcantara cargo cover without ivory/blue merino / no more options in 2021 like night vision, RES...etc

Some of this just doesn't make sense.

And from your experience I'm starting to think it's more anything associated with ivory gets that.

My dealer didn't have any ivory's on his lot only the mixed one. Hence what I checked with parts.

I believe they look at it as their signature launch colors and somehow give it an extra nudge

I'm assuming it's BMW NA only as honestly the car simply looks out of sync when having the headliner in alcantara and some other parts in cloth. Simply inconsistant and looks cheap.

I've noticed this. It seems that the Full Merino Leather builds include the small cover in alcantara. (As Heimdall mentions, the only current non-Alpina or limited edition full leather still available is the ivory and blue combo, so that has it)

It's a small thing, but I think the quality is noticeable between the alcantara and the canvas.

Mine is a 2020 with ivory full merino leather with alcantara headliner. I'm in the U.S. and it does NOT have the alcantara shelf.

The thing which bugs me the most is that i bought basically everything i could except B&W, so i wouldn't have a problem to pay a bit more for this damn detail.

Yup,
first thing I did after delivery is to remove the shelf and cargo shade. Both are sources of rattles in a coffin quiet vehicle.

Interesting with full ivory interior (not just extended Merino) you still don't have an alcantara shelf.
