I think this kind of backfired.

But merry Christmas anyway!

Rumour has it after the shoot at the undisclosed set...

It was heard while Santa climbed down from the X7.
"All you designers are on my NAUGHTY list! Ho! Ho! NO!!!"

I feel like half the people don't realize it's just an ugly render and not the real thing here...

I certainly hope it's not the real thing.
The exaggerated snout reminds me of something...

Ah. Yes. Of course.

And the new X7 will complement its pedestrian detection technology by smelling both people and animals before they can be seen.

As much as I hope it would look nothing like this... part of me wouldn't be surprised. A few of the latest models (7 and 5), while far from bad designs, seem like steps backward in some ways from the previous generation. Every so often, BMW goes through a funky/fugly stage... starting to think another Bangle era might be coming upon us soon.

Obviously a render.

Bigger question where did the person creating this render get their styling info/leaks?

Why would they render that hideous face. Will it really resemble that?

Good man! I hope you produce something that inspires the designers to give this car the face it deserves.

Has the design moved further from what was shown in Cape Town?

That looks hideous. If it looks like that sales will be horrible.

Hopefully neither the X7 or X5 follows the design shown. If it does then i will be running from the brand.

That grille design is hideous. Nice try for effort, though. Happy Holidays!

Agreed! If I was to ever get something that big I would purchase a proper Range Rover.

An X4M is perfect size for me!
