Did you get any discounts here in Canada?

There are minimal discounts available depending on dealership but don't expect much. These things are selling. Like someone said here, any discount is good because dealerships don't need to incentivize.

That makes sense. It was unfortunate that I learned of the BMW local club discounts too late. You'd have to be a member of the local charter for a year to receive these discounts.

Metal man if you have the ability to hold off, you might want to wait for a 2020 model like me. Various advantages. MY2020 starts in August.

Im holding off wifes car still has 4-5 months with 3 month extension available. Hoping to find a fully loaded 40i with my build stuck on a dealer. I managed to get $125k 750 last year for $1250 per month. Hoping to get this one in the $1050-1150 range. Wife still wants to see new aviator as well even though im leaning heavily X7 without even seeing aviator.

Damn... that's a deal on a 750i. Would be great if you can get a nicely optioned X7 for $1100/mo.

For one, I'm guessing that in MY2020, when the new GLS gets released, demand for the X7 and X5 will go down. Maybe some better deals.

Deals will be here soon. Glad i have time. I got hammered on my wifes fully loaded XC90. Patience.... im excited for it but its not life and death illusion like i get with some cars 😂. I know this will be a touchy area with wife since i have a feeling she will want the aviator... going to need a good argument for X7 since its really not even for me

I told the dealer to requote next week with april numbers. Lets see what happens. Hopefully bmw takes a sales dip this month and lowers the rates even more and ups the rebates. Ill post the new deal as well

I'd be surprised if there's a sales dip for March. Spartanburg is churning out cars even faster than their supply logistics can support. Has been strong lately. Will have to see how Mercedes responds with the GLS, and Audi with the Q8.

I'm hoping to get a X7 40i with a current sticker of $103k with 3k down and 36/10k miles for $1,200/month.

However, I still have 10 months left on my lease so it will be a MY20 next February. If the discounts reach the 10% off-level by then which we currently see on the X5, I might have a chance....

That must be a completely loaded 40i! Including B&W and rear seat entertainment.

Almost..

It's basically a X7 40i xLine with (almost) all the options available (incl. Night Vision, B&W and Rear Entertainment).

Only options missing would be captain's chairs, 22" wheels (I prefer the black all-season approach) and running boards. My favorite black matte wood-trim (the one with the bronze) is no-charge as well.

Now, if you go with the M-package, you can actually get VERY close to $110K on the 40i if you pick ALL options possible...

The only thing I'm seeing so far that might become available for MY20 that is not yet included in the price are the laser headlights...

Very cool, my man. I haven't seen the updated pricing and ordering guides yet that include the night vision.

Actually, the Night Vision has/is already on the OG/PG from October 2018. Shows Night Vision as a $2,300 option with a Start Of Production (SOP) listed as 04/19.

Now, on the online configurator, it's not listed yet. The last change I noticed is that you can now finally build a 40i with the Premium Package and the B&W. Previously, it rejected one or the other due to the Harman/Kardon being part of of Premium Package so it caused a conflict for the "dumb" configurator..

It now also adjusts the price of the B&W down to $3,400 on the 40i when you opt for the Premium Package.

I don't know yet if that is actually accurate because the current OG or PG is not supporting this but on the other hand, it just sounds about right. I mean, why should you pay the full $4,200 for the B&W on top of the $3,000 Premium Package when that Package already includes the H/K? After all, the 50i has the H/K standard and the upcharge for the B&W for the 50i is only $3,400 as well.

This might be an indication that an updated OG/PG is on the way and that the configurator already caught up to that.

You actually can do it after the fact now but you have to do the 3 year membership and then you can submit for the rebate.

So if I sign up now, in 3 years I can submit a rebate request? I planned on joining anyways as I wanted to participate in the high performance driver's ed class offered by my local charter. I'm in Ontario, Canada.

Agree. BMW continues to punish early buyers of the X7. They kept our $1000 pre-order for 5 months, no discount from MRSP, reduced loyalty credit, horrible lease and finance conditions. They are selling us a 2019 car in April when the 2020 MY will be out in August. Chances are that we will be plagued with software and other glitches with the first cars. This is my last early buyer of any model. I will refuse to be a beta tester with penalties.
Been there with the 2014 i8. Fully agree! Some 2015 options are not even on the 2014, e.g. comfort access. Cannot retrofit.
