Read your trip report twice. If I were in the market for X7, my next stop would be my local dealer. Nice write up!

X7 is probably one of the better models coming from BMW the last decade or so, impressive presence and look blended with performance to spare.

That's cause yours is blacked out - without that treatment on a black car.. well you get this... which is not good looking IMHO.

It's an awesome car, I definitely would've got it but it's a little too expensive for me. I ended up with an X3 M40i and can't complain. Keep enjoying your new ride!

I've the same without B&W. Love the color and one of the best rides. Noticeably better than my previous 2017 GLS550. I'm sure you will need winter tires for your weather. I managed well with 21" AS this winter. Congrats and Enjoy in good health!

We just picked up a 40i M Sport. Wife loves it. I'm picking up a 2020 M5C but I absolutely love the comfort and cruisability of the X7!!

Thanks! I originally left the default cerium trim, but opted for the more aggressive look.

Lovely car and hope you have many miles of fun and safe driving.
I think the grill looks better on a black on black spec, but a bit of an eye sore on lighter colours.

As for me, the new Audi SQ8 or even better, the RSQ8 is the business.
In the ABT spec from the german tuner, this looks menacing and cool in equal measure. What did it for me was the interior that is miles ahead of the similarly priced X7

The x7 grill is a bit of an eye sore? :

I looked at Audi and there's a plastic look and feel to that dash as well as a lot of creeks when driving one, and that was a new one. Down the road it will only get worst. The screens are nice though and have a ton of options. These vehicles are in different classes. The fit and feel of the x7 is above and beyond.

Sweet ride, love the long post warning haha. I am not a fan of the big grill on 7 series but the more aggressively styled ones like yours look very nice. Good luck with the new car

Slightly different market, but looks nice I agree. My neighbor just bought a Q8 and those haptic buttons are weird. I still like real buttons you can push.

I got to experience a Q8 when my friend bought one last year. I agree that the Q8 interior looks very elegant, but all those shiny surfaces already looked like crap on a 1 week old vehicle. To each his own but I vastly prefer the X7 (and classic BMW in general) interior paradigm.

Congrats OP!
