Higher octane fuel c.100+ RON - not available in UK. Good if you have N54 FBO

The Wikipedia page on e85 is particularly good..

The biggest benefit of e85 is the cooling effect - allowing more boost and aggressive timing. In the US it was considerably cheaper than standard gas. But it is pretty inefficient with less MPG. I wish we had it in the UK, I was tempted to give it a try when in France, but chickened out as I didn't want any problems.

Did you end up installing your meth kit Phil?

Might look into going down this route instead

I've had meth installed for a year or two..

It flipping brilliant and cheap as chips. I bought 100 litres of meth for £40 off eBay. Not even half way through it yet!!!

I highly recommend meth to anyone.. The power and torque is really quite silly. I'm now running JB4 G5 ISO with a Wedge Performance Backend Map ([Admin Notified] open source flash) - it's quite frightening!!

Next I'm looking to get some cat-less resonated midpipes made-up to fit my eisenmann race exhaust - then I'll hit the dyno again..
