Geez....now the DJ isn't showing up on SailWx.info at all. Did she....ok, I won't even play around asking such a silly question!
Seriously though...I guess her AIS info may be hit and miss across the pond. Unless of course she really did.....ok, I won't kid around. Have to go clean my SINK!!!

Her AIS info is only as good as her crew's diligence in calling it in...I don't think its automatic ...

Guys, I just got confirmation from my Dealer that my car is on the boat. The oc.bmwusa.com site confirms it. Under order review, I can see my VIN. But when I go to the W W tracking page... it will not show my car.

i'm pretty sure i'm on this boat (dealer said my car will arrive in country on 23 Feb), but the tracking page says it has no info for my VIN number.. I dunno wtf is wrong. Guess it'll still get here when it gets here though.

The W W L site should have the VIN ... do you have the dealer confirmation (off the DCS)? ...

dealer confirmation? not quite sure.. my salesman told me last week sometime that my car was scheduled to arrive at the port on the 23rd.. it looks like from the DJ's schedule that I may not actually be on this ship, since it doesn't arrive at any US ships on the 23rd.. meh, who knows. |

Romulus: I am not sure your car's on the D J as she is only calling on Halifax on the 23rd (scheduled). Where are you taking delivery? Either way W W L should have cargo tracking on your VIN...good luck.

The next WW ship to leave Bremerhaven was the Maersk Wave. It left on 02.18.2006 and does not have a port call in Halifax. It is scheduled to arrive in New York on 02.28.2006 - one day after the DJ. If we encounter a delay in Canada, then that ship could dock in New York ahead of our trusty DJ even though it left Bremerhaven five days later.
Might be kinda fun to track it's progress as well. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. |

Yes, it is the Maersk Wave (and my e90 is on it) but it is most definitely NOT in the Gulf of Aden. For some reason, the Maersk Wave has not reported its location to sailwx.info since 01/31/2006. Your graphic confirms this too.
The website for Wallenius Wilhelmsen confirms that the ship left Southampton, UK today and is on schedule for a 02/28 docking in NYC. The post above from Southampton is likely more accurate than WW's site, but either way she is definitely not between Africa and Saudi Arabia. |
