I can't wait to have this issue solved. The BT connection between my iPhone 5s and my M235i is really buggy. Sometime, it connects directly, sometime I have to manually select the BMW. Sometime I don't hear any music at all over BT....

It's known bug and I don't understand why BMW needs months to fix it.

I was the one that posted this trick in the first place and have been using it daily for about a month now.

I just upgraded to 8.0.2 last night, and on my drive to work this morning, there was no refreshing of song information when I hit "Random".

I hope this isn't permanently disabled.

I've had it work intermittently before. Try again later and let us know. I haven't updated to 8.0.2 yet.

You're right...Just went to lunch, plugged phone in with Spotify, hit random and everything works like it was.

I wish they would just give us an update to automatically refresh the information. Giving us control/view of playlists would be a godsend.
