My second is starting to peel paint on the bumpers and rear spoiler. Rattles galore and interior components such as ambient lighting have fitment issues. |

Overall I love the vehicle, having a hard time getting past the headlights though.

Hi,regardless of where the X's are manufactured they're all built by robotics. If you watch the videos on YouTube of the builds , it's amazing on how it's done. I've worked on job's at GM and Ford while retooling the plants as an electrician and a lot of work goes into it . Regardless of what country there're built in , they use the same robots to do this . The only difference would be is how well trained the person representing the robotics company is with their product and there training . If you live in the U.S.A. of course you're going to be proud of the product being made here. I guess what I'm saying is the only difference there would be is in the quality control areas and the company liaison's who are the go between on the job's. In this day and age a lot of Countries contribute parts to all automobile's and not many autos have parts made and assembled in that country. Just like any other business, people are going to have good days and bad days in the QC department and technical areas .Most auto plants in the US are Union Organized and from what I know, most are proud of the product that they are making .I love my X3 and I'm happy that BMW has created so many American jobs and has taken the opportunity to build there SAV's here ! Just my Two Cents .

Same issue here, my X7 they used touch up paint on the rear bumper cover in plain site, about 0.3 inch in length. I have had a few X vehicles and this was the first time I had the experience.

Nice! My wife wants one similar to this. Isn't this extended merino ivory leather? I see white leather as if it's full merino leather. I thought only Ivory White/Atlas Grey was available in full leather???
