Picked her up last week. Tanzanite Blue II is such a multi-faceted color! Glad I listened to the wife because she has great taste!
The first picture is my favorite as the metallic flakes in direct sunlight really give it a rich velvety blue appearance. You can also compare it with Mercedes’ blue on the E-class. TBII looks so much richer! In the second picture, without direct sunlight, its an inky/Imperial blue. And the color looks almost black when it’s dark. While not the best pic, it’s the first pic I ever took of my new-to-me car. I’ve been out of the country for the last week and unable to drive it. Miss driving as we have to taxi everywhere in Brazil (visiting in-laws). Loaded with 5 passengers and luggage for 4, we achieved 24mpg average on a round trip to SFO in the Bay Area traffic/rolling hills. Not bad. The I6 was plenty powerful for keeping us moving along at 75-85mph. Comfortable and quiet. I can’t complain!
