So they show Rear Seat Entertainment in the marketing material but it's not an available option?

Feels like it's getting harder and harder for BMW to please folks on this forum. This looks good to me. Would never buy it given size and overall lack of interest but def prefer to GLS. Love the blue seats

So what 7 seater do you buy to throw around corners?
Wait ...that’s not the point of a 7 seater.

OF COURSE someone will drive their kids around in it.

Can an SAV be a collectors car or by 2030 is this car getting traded in and bought by someone like me?

By the way, if the production is happening in the US how come the pics have euro plates?

Absolutely love it. Don’t understand the bloated comment, unless you believe the X7 in general is bloated. Also didn’t understand the baby momma comment.

Absolutely boring with a matte paint job. Also bored with these "editions" BMW keeps bringing out.

I really like this spec inside and out except for the very lame name. Can you opt for a name delete on the center console...I'd be embarrassed to have that stamped on such a nice build.

Sorting through the comments here of those who hate on the X7 in general, vs this specific edition.

Grrrr.... was super excited to see the announcement of this, thinking it might be just what I was holding off for, finally buying my X7. And something special to offset the disappointment of the 2021 feature deletions.

I like the exterior, and matte colors can add a nice pizzaz to a Bimmer. And I was excited to hear about a black interior, which is what I'm wanting. But sadly, I'm not feeling like the blue compliments the black well, the way the ivory/blue combo really looks sharp.

Pisser. I'll look at it some more. But of course, the editions will likely sell out in a flash.

Not a fan of the big grey brick look. The outside looks so boring with that color/finish and the inside color combo is not working at all with it regardless.

Also, did anyone notice the pictures show the RES but it's not actually an option listed

Pre-ordering will kick-off on July 23rd at 6:01 pm EST [Now] on www.shopbmwusa.com/X7-Dark- Shadow-Edition-Pre-Order. A refundable $1,000 deposit will reserve one of the limited edition vehicles online with the purchase details being completed with your selected dealer. The X7 Dark Shadow Edition is equipped with a very comprehensive selection of standard and optional equipment and packages, the only option at pre-order being the selection of second row Captain’s Chairs vs. the standard three-person bench seat.
That link isn't working for me. Is it sold out already?

EDIT: Got it working. There's an extra space in the link above that is incorrect. Here's the correct link:
